Meon Valley University of the Third Age

The University of the Third Age is an international organisation. Meon Valley U3A membership requires no educational qualifications, just an interest in life long learning and enjoying leisure in retirement.

Dr. Denis May of Soberton Heath, the founder Chairman, first came across U3A in France, liked what he saw and brought the idea home with him.  Sixteen "academic" years have now passed since the Group was set up.   Membership, currently about 70, is drawn from the Meon Valley villages, North  Fareham,    Bishop's  Waltham   and   the   surrounding   areas.
