on
“Historic Mills near Shedfield”
The Hampshire Mills Group is for anyone interested in mills of all types - watermills, windmills, tide mills - with many members who own mills and welcome the opportunity to share their enthusiasm.
Some members are actively involved in the restoration work on mills and their machinery, sluices, waterwheels, turbines and watercourses. They advise mill owners on repair and conservation and lend a hand when needed. Others research the various aspects of milling and mill history and survey buildings.
The group meets four times a year in a variety of Hampshire mills.
Come along
and find out about this part of our industrial heritage.
All Welcome.
